11月16日上午，香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）第十屆研究生畢業(yè)典禮在禮文堂舉行，逾1600名研究生身著學(xué)袍，即將告別神仙湖畔的學(xué)術(shù)殿堂，奔赴廣闊天地，以創(chuàng)新為筆，續(xù)寫青春與理想的嶄新華章。
徐揚(yáng)生校長在演講中向所有碩士與博士畢業(yè)生致以最熱烈的祝賀，鼓勵大家以勇氣、堅韌與謙遜，在廣闊天地中開創(chuàng)屬于自己的獨(dú)特人生。
Dear graduates, colleagues, family members, and
friends, good morning and welcome to this extraordinary
gathering. Today we honor the achievements of 1623
postgraduate students from over 30 academic fields. You
have ventured deep into the realms of knowledge, faced
challenge with resilience, and emerged transformed in
different ways. We celebrate the courage, the spirit of
inquiry, and the perseverance of each of you. At the
same time, earning a postgraduate degree is not an
individual success. It is a shared accomplishment, built
on the support of families, wisdom of supervisors, and
the generosity of friends. So today we are also
celebrating the triumph of those who walked beside you,
the power of community, and the strength of
interpersonal connection.
大家上午好！今天是個喜慶的日子，我們齊聚于此，共同見證2025屆研究生的畢業(yè)典禮。本屆共有1623名學(xué)子圓滿完成了他們的學(xué)術(shù)追求，在此，我謹(jǐn)代表大學(xué)，向全體畢業(yè)生致以最誠摯的祝賀！我要特別感謝張建宗教授和周國平教授為此次研究生畢業(yè)典禮擔(dān)任主講嘉賓，相信二位的智慧分享，將為學(xué)子們帶來深遠(yuǎn)啟迪。
今年是香港中文大學(xué)（深圳）建校的第十一年，也是我校第十屆研究生畢業(yè)典禮。這些年來，我們吸引了全球眾多優(yōu)秀學(xué)子前來求學(xué)，也為社會各界培養(yǎng)輸送了一批又一批杰出人才。我欣慰地看到，研究生校友的隊伍日益壯大，他們心懷母校，無論身處何方，均以卓越才學(xué)為母校贏得廣泛贊譽(yù)，充分彰顯了大學(xué)的育人成果。在此，我想向每一位學(xué)子及校友道一聲感謝。你們與大學(xué)彼此成就，共同成長，是這所大學(xué)將你們推向了世界，也是你們將這所大學(xué)推向了世界！
Often a postgraduate degree begins with questions,
questions that demand courage to ask and patience to
answer. Other times, it begins with the realization of
personal limitations and the desire for change. For most
of you, the past few years have been a journey of
exploration and experimentation, a process of expanding
vision and refining insights. I hope you have not only
sought answers but also discovered new questions to ask;
I hope you have not just addressed the limitations you
began with but also identified new areas for
development. For although you are officially saying
goodbye to your identity as a student today, learning
and growing extend far beyond the campus. They are a
life-long career.
The postgraduate community is a uniquely diverse and
inclusive community. Different from the undergraduate
cohort, the postgraduate community is a rare and
powerful convergence, bringing together people at
completely different stages of life. In this group
today, recent graduates, mid-career professionals, and
parents sit beside one another. The spirit of our
postgraduate community is profound and essential. As you
step out into the society, your ability to work with
people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and
walks of life will be one of your greatest strengths. We
need to understand that the best ideas are often
produced when different worlds collide.
The future will not be built by individuals, but by
diverse teams working in creative collaboration. To make
that happen, we all need to develop intellectual
generosity. This means that if you are young and just
starting your career, don’t hold back your ideas even if
they are not perfect. Don’t shrink from taking
initiatives. At the same time, if you are an experienced
leader, try not to dismiss what you don’t immediately
understand. We are all expert in something and
inexperienced in other things. True innovation happens
when different potentials and experiences intersect.
同學(xué)們，今天你畢業(yè)了，而且是研究生畢業(yè)了，無論是碩士還是博士學(xué)位，你千辛萬苦，在夢中無數(shù)次出現(xiàn)的畫面，今天終于成為了現(xiàn)實(shí)！你或許會有點(diǎn)焦慮，接下來，又該做什么呢？就像一個成功的登山運(yùn)動員在珠峰上想：下一座山在哪里呢？同學(xué)們，我想告訴你，你的下一座山就是社會！在你的同齡人中，你能從這樣一所大學(xué)研究生畢業(yè)，是十分值得慶賀的，這說明了兩點(diǎn)：第一，和你的同齡人相比，你讀書大概是不錯的；第二，憑你的學(xué)位證書去找你的第一份工作，你可能相較其他人更容易找到好的工作，這是事實(shí)，沒錯，但你“讀書”還行，并不能說明你“做事”也行，我今天想告訴你的是，事實(shí)上，“讀書”行的人，常�！白鍪隆辈恍小Ｉ鐣菤埧岬�，從來不看學(xué)歷，而會讀書的人呢，常常有兩件事需要特別注意，今天我想談一談，與大家分享。
第一點(diǎn)要注意的是讀書愈多的人，常常愈難創(chuàng)新。這是為什么呢？因?yàn)槟阕x書愈多，每當(dāng)碰到一件事，你就會去類比，你會去想我已經(jīng)學(xué)過的東西能不能用一下，這樣就沒有創(chuàng)新了。然而，世界上沒有一件事是重復(fù)的，因?yàn)闀r間不同，人不同，各種條件環(huán)境也不同。因?yàn)槟阕x書多，你會傾向于從書本里，從已知的事件里找答案，從而放棄思考，放棄創(chuàng)新。所以，今天我想去鼓勵大家一定要保持“創(chuàng)新”的精神，要勇敢地去試著做以前從來沒有做過的事情。當(dāng)你有創(chuàng)新的思路時，要像愛護(hù)你剛剛出生的孩子一樣去保護(hù)她。當(dāng)你畫草圖時，你不要去檢查有什么缺陷；當(dāng)你寫第一稿論文的時候，不要去反思論文的依據(jù)；當(dāng)你創(chuàng)造時，你的頭腦必須從所有的評判中釋放出來。只有這樣，你才能完全自由地創(chuàng)造你自己喜歡的東西。如果你要批評，以后再去批評，只有這樣你才能大膽地創(chuàng)造！
人生是曠野，人生不是軌道，不要去尋找軌道。要去發(fā)揮自己的獨(dú)特性，去追求與眾不同，去做獨(dú)一無二的自己。要去行動，要去做，你做什么，你就是什么，不是你說什么，不是你想什么，不是你看什么，不是你相信什么，而是你真的花時間在什么地方，拼命地干什么！
第二點(diǎn)要注意的是讀書愈多的人，常常愈在乎別人的評價。因?yàn)樽x書多的人已經(jīng)習(xí)慣了在別人的評價中、在許許多多的考試中，找到自己的定位，這實(shí)際上已經(jīng)將自己人生的鑰匙交給了別人。所以，我們的同學(xué)常常在學(xué)校里讀書很好，一碰到社會上的挑戰(zhàn)就垂頭喪氣。同學(xué)們，人生不可能一馬平川，我們需要一顆皮實(shí)的心去對抗人生中的艱難和嘲笑。世界上聰明的人很多，你能想到的，別人也能想到，最終你能在聰明人中間獲勝，是因?yàn)槟惚人麄兏訄皂g。對別人的評價不要那么敏感，要把心放在自己身上，關(guān)心自己的成長與進(jìn)步，要把外面的聲音關(guān)得最小，這樣你就能聽見自己的聲音，就能知道自己心里真正想做的事情。人生的路要靠自己去走，一步一步地尋，一步一步地走，終有一天你會尋找到那件你一生一定要做的事情，你要有這個自信。一個真正有格局、有內(nèi)涵的人，心無波瀾，堅守初心，最終將獲得大海一樣浩瀚的人生。
Graduates, as you march forward into the big world out
there, I hope you will have many opportunities to work
with and be inspired by people who are different from
you. On your way to different destinations, I hope you
will never stop moving forward even when the path gets
uncertain. Wherever you go, remember that you can always
return to us as mentors, collaborators, and friends. You
will always remain part of the CUHK-Shenzhen community.
Now go forth with courage and humility. The world
needs your energy, creativity, and kindness. Thank you!
